Barbara A. Lupo

October 15, 1950 - February 11, 2022

Lupo- Barbara Ann, of Centereach, New York, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022, at the age of 71, surrounded by family and close friends. Devoted wife of Thomas for 51 years. Loving mother of Brian (Nancy), and Michael (Jeri). Beloved grandmother of Christopher, Summer, Matthew, and Autumn. Loved and missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Barbara worked as she lived, always caring for others, as a phlebotomist at Stony Brook University Hospital for over 25 years and previously as a teacher’s aid for special-needs children at Jericho Elementary School. Barbara was a New York State Past First Lady, Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, a Brookhaven Town Republican Committee Member, and a current member of the Dr. Vincenzo Sellaro Lodge, Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, in Smithtown, NY. Visitation at Marinello Funeral Home, Inc., 493 Middle Country Rd., Coram, NY, on Monday, 2/14, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2/15/ from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 2/16, 11:00 am, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Centereach, NY.
