Mary Andrea Naylor Boyd Williams was born in New York, New York, December 26, 1945 to the late Montford D Naylor, Sr. and Florine (Redd) Naylor. Sunday, January 5, 2020, the Lord wanted a beautiful flower for His garden and gently hand picked, Mary Andrea. She attended schools in Central Islip, New York and graduated from Central Islip High School. Mary went on to further her education at New York University. For more than 25 years, Mary held numerous positions for the County of Westchester in New York. Those positions included assignments within Probation, Family Court, and Social Services. Her dedication to her roles fueled her love of research. Mary was a voracious reader. She enjoyed a no-holds-barred relationship with the culinary arts. A skillful cuisinier, Mary delighted in the preparation and consumption of delicious food. She could take a classic recipe and create a new trend simply by introducing a “secret” ingredient to the dish. Mary Andrea loved to travel. Being exposed to new places developed her wide world view, increasing her desire to explore the many ways to enjoy life. Mary was an instrumental figure in many young lives. She volunteered as a Child Advocate for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Silicon Valley. She provided guidance, motivation, and emotional support to all youth, making her a “Mom” to many. Mary Andrea Naylor Boyd Williams embodied the phrase, “it takes a village…” and rejoiced in the achievements of those she helped raise. Cherishing Mary Andrea’s memories are her loving and devoted husband, Charles, daughters, Christina(Boyd) Wray, Tia Boyd, Kimberley (Boyd) Bigby (Keiron), bonus daughter, Angie (Williams) Bolich (James), bonus son, Charles Williams, Jr. (Nicola), one brother, Montford D. She will be missed but will always be in our hearts….
